I was traveling through AL and my bike died on I-65 N. I called and talked with Zach. It was close to closing time and I didn't expect anyone to be there. I had it towed to Heart of Dixie and when I got there it was 7:05 pm. Zach and some other guys were still there. Zach got the bike off of the truck and into the shop. When I came back the next morning at 10 am. It was fixed and ready to go. I can't say enough good things about the service department at Heart of Dixie HD.

I was riding up to Tennessee, from Orlando. I had a rear tire blowout just south of the dealership and had my bike towed into Heart of Dixie HD. We arrived at the dealership 1 hour before closing and the service guys jumped on the tow truck and moved my bike into the service area. This was no easy task, the rear tire was melted and destroyed. When you are traveling and need repair work, you never know how well you will be taken care of at different HDs. There happen to be a tire sell going on, so I went ahead and bought front and rear tires. By the time my bike was finished, it was after closing time. I cannot say enough about the Heart of Dixie service department!! I could not wish for a better experience! Zack and Bryan knocked it out of the park! I highly recommend Heart of Dixie HD!!

After dinner on March 15, 2023 at Bessemer Chick-fil-a my 07 Ultra decided to spin the starter but not the motor. We were on our way from Texas back home to Pennsylvania. Roughly 1000 miles out. The next morning after our first contact with Heart of Dixie Harley, which was close by, they gave us the feeling that everything would be alright. Once they knew where bike was, Josh called and told me he was on his way to pick up bike and when he would be there. Sure enough he was there when he said he would be. Once we got to the dealership we were treated as if we were the most important customer there. And since we were travelers we were given top priority so we could get back on the road. Once problem was diagnosed Matthew (apologies if I didnt get name right) the service writer gave me a price on what it would cost to get me back on the road. Turns out final price was better than that. All good. Everyone I talked to at Heart of Dixie was helpful, friendly, courteous and every other good adjective I can think of.
I was grateful that my bike broke down close enough to such a great dealership.
The whole experience felt as if someone was watching over us.
The employees at Heart of Dixie should be proud of the service they provide Harley owners. Other businesses could learn a lot from them.

BIG Shout Out to the Service Team at Heart of Dixie HD. Recently I was riding from Va to Tx, picked up a terrible grinding noise that had me baffled and seriously concerned. Rolled into the service desk, explained the situation, they jumped right on, got all my info, had a tech take it for spin, he instantly knew what the issue was, took back in the shop, 10 minutes later he rolled it back out front, in under one hour I was back on the road headed west, and it didnt even cost me a Hundred DollarsLOL. It was actually such a stupid simple thing they didnt charge me a dime. These guys were professional, super friendly, and beyond helpful, I cant recommend them highly enough. Also its a huge beautiful dealership, and they had a lot of bikes in inventory which surprised me because inventory in my part of Va has been low for a long time now. Recently had my Ultra Classic in for new tires, service and electronics work. The service writer,Bobby, was great. He kept me abreast of the work being done or needed as well as the cost. He was very detailed in explaining the work. 1 1/2 days later, Bobby called and told me to come pick my bike up. It was ready. Man, I was surprised. Thinking it would be much longer. We can't rave enough about our experience at Heart of Dixie HD. We have owned many bikes & purchased from several dealers but never get better treatment than when we deal with HofD in Pelham, Al. Our sales rep, David, was knowledgeable & straight up with us about all of the bikes we looked at. Helped my wife, who has a hip injury, learn a new way to more safely mount the bike. He is also freaking hilarious & just plain fun to talk to. Erin was a joy in finance & let's not forget Jeff, also in finance, who held our 6 week old granddaughter while we finished our paperwork! This dealership is truly a full service group. We were so impressed & gratefull for such a great experience. I live in Enterprise, AL and needed a voltage regulator for my screaming eagle. After searching my local area and coming up empty handed, I decided to call your dealership. I wish I had gotten the name of the guy in parts that helped me. Regardless, he was very helpful, knew exactly what I was needing and had the part. One of the reasons this is important is because I had gotten (2) different price quotes after calling (4) other dealerships. He did exactly what he said, mailed me the part and all is well. good morning my fellow bikers and trikers. this is wayne thrailkill writing this post and i just had to let everyone know , from the heart how i feel about heart of dixie motorcycle in pelham , alabama. i am 72 yrs old and just purchased my 25th and final motorcycle, a 2020 harley freewheeler. i have ridden bikes for 59 yrs and i can honestly say never in my life have i been treated so wonderfully by a company's general manager, sales staff, service department and parts department as i have been treated by heart of dixie. folks if you are considering buying a first time bike or your 25th bike, please do yourself a big favor and give these incredible people a chance to show you their dealership, hospitality, and knowledge and expertise before you shop any place else. this is my 2nd bike purchase from them and i am so humbled by the way i have been treated by them. i promise you will not be sorry. you will be buying in my opinion the greatest motorcycle made in the world and you will find you have made some great friends that will take the best care of your new bike from now on. everyone in this dealership puts your bike needs first after the sale, which is the most important time. folks i am not related to and didn't know a single person at heart of dixie before 2017. i feel like i have 15 new great friends and know that every time i take it in for service or accessories i will get the best from everyone there. thank you heart of dixie for making an old man's dream come true.

If youre shopping for a bike, you need to come here and talk with Lee or any of the other members that is there. My first bike purchase was in 2013 Road King and Lee took care of me than and provide outstanding service, so I referred a few folks that also purchased their bikes from there. So now its time for an upgrade and I contacted Lee and he made everything happen again with Mike (Manager) with my new RGS. Thank you gentlemen for always making my second a smooth process like the first one. They go above and beyond to taking care of their customer, thats why I rather drive up to Pelham (from PRATTVILLE). Everything was handle through cell phone (pics, pricing and so on). Definitely will recommended anyone to come here first.

My boyfriend and I were traveling from northern Kentucky to Panama City Beach for thunder Beach on our 2010 Ultra Limited Electra Glide
Upon leaving Florida, Joe became very ill. Being a Marine veteran, he made it to the VA hospital in Birmingham. He was admitted for an undetermined amount of time. I was able to get our bike to a nearby hotel parking garage where I would be staying in the interim. I was stuck and overwhelmed. I searched for a local Harley dealer and was lucky enough to come across Heart of Dixie Harley Davidson. I spoke with Brandon in service. I give him the run down and told him I had no idea how long the bike would need to stay there and I really needed it picked up that night. He was able to dispatch Josh to get our bike. Both men were absolutely top notch, so kind and understanding. Joe was eventually released and I was able to rent a box truck to get us and our bike home. Everyone at Heart of Dixie was helpful and accommodating. Josh once again stepped up, loaded the bike and secured it for us. We made it home safe and sound as did the bike. We purchased a few things while at the dealership and were amazed at the cleanliness, order, and inventory at Heart of Dixie. You all have a top notch facility and an even better crew. A HUGE shout out to the great people of Heart of Dixie HD. On 12 April 19, while travelling on I-65 North, just a few miles south of the dealership, my wife and I had a blowout on our Ultra Classic. I contacted the Service Department and instantly the wheels were in motion to get a trailer to come get me off of a VERY busy highway. Once I got to the delaership with my bike, the staff brought me right in. Heres the best part , its towards the end of the business day and they still took me in and worked on it. As a matter of fact Matt, my service technician went above and beyond what I would have expected. He repaired my tire and while on a test drive, he found more damage to the bike. Matt stayed after hours to fix what he could and gave me a parts list of the items I would need to fix the bike completely. Matt's dedication to duty and his job are the standard for everyone to emulate. My experience with your delaership was an awesome one considering I could have just died when we had the blowout. At one point the staff even recommended that I get a bite to eat while they fixed my bike. Your dealership is the standard for all other dealerships. When I but my next bike, I plan on coming to your dealership as opposed to staying local. Your customer service is the best I have ever received at ANY HD dealership. Please recognize Matt in Service. I also plan on contacted HD Corporate to let them know of my great experience.

This is the 4th time George has went above and beyond after the sale! 1 he removed personal belongings from my trade in and left it aside for me to get2 my new bike had a problem and he introduced me to the service manager and had it expedited and taken care of immediately 3 My new bike didnt have the headset with it but he followed up and got me one in a timely manner. 4 My plaque never came in the mail and George had another sent out. The last time I was at bike night he was ahead of my wife and I. He served us and several others before making his on plate. I live in Huntsville and could not get my 2017 trike fixed thats all I will say! Trailed my trike to Dixie and talked to service dept they listened to me as other dealer would not Dixie kept me informed throughout my service and repair after one week I returned picked up my bike this weekend I rode 250 miles with no issues my hat is off to the service department you definitely know your business super good service department very smart technicians I will always return my Harleys to Dixie thank you again keep up the great work devoted customer from here out .

We were on vacation(6 hours from home) when my wife's Heritage started making a grinding noise, inner primary bearing was going out, we managed to make it from Gulf Shores to Pelham at about 4 pm on a Sunday. The service tech Bill Fenn looked at the bike and said he thought he knew the problem but he couldn't get to it till Monday morning, he got started on it @9am and we pulled away at 245pm.....Thanks for being so helpful and getting us back on the road so quick.

I am a HOD HOG Member and was participating in the Tuesday HOG Chapter ride today. We left the dealership at 10 am and rode to our first stop at exit 100 on I20/59. We left enroute to Tuscaloosa and I began to smell a strong gasoline smell. I noticed a spray coming from underneath my fuel tank. I pulled over and called the Heart of Dixie Dealership. I asked for the Service Department and Zack answered the phone. I told Zack I was a HOD HOG Member and I had broken down during the chapter ride. I told him where I was and he said he would be right there. I was over thirty miles from the dealership and Zack arrived with a trailer within 45 minutes. He loaded my bike and strapped it down. He then dropped me off at my residence and then took my bike to the dealership. By the time I put up the items from my bike and drove to the dealership Zack had located the problem and was ordering the required parts. I could not have asked for faster service or a more professional person than Zack. It is great to be a HOD HOG member with the support of such an outstanding dealership and staff. The staff at 'our' dealership is unmatched in their loyalty to their customers and their work ethic. Thanks again !!!!

Can't say enough good things about the service I received at Heart of Dixie HD. On May 6th I left Melbourne , FL on the first day of a 2 week cross country trip on my 2006 Ultra Classic. Leaving Montgomery on the way to Birmingham to stay the night, my shift linkgage fell off of rear shifter arm. Called H of D HD and they said be there at 9:00 in the AM and they would get me back on the road. I was there at 9 and Drew Peck got someone to work on it right away. I was literally back on the road by 9:45AM. Many thanks Drew and Heart of Dixie. Dave BTW , completed the trip west on I-40 to Barstow, CA then back east on I-70 through the Rockies. 5810 miles , 14 days and 18 states.

I have shopped a lot of dealerships and looked at a lot of bikes. This dealership really deserves more than a 5 but that is as high as it goes. I was completely satisfied with everyone I dealt with. Buzz is a great salesman. He did not try any pressure tactics, he answered all my questions and helped me in every way possible. I am 100% satisfied with them. Oh and I really do love my Ultra. My wife and I recently moved from St Augustine, FL to Vestavia Hills, Al. While riding my bike up on the move, the engine started making a noise and losing power. We stopped at Heart of Dixie to have a tech check it out. We were informed the problem was internal and would have to be broken down to diagnose. Josh, Drew, and Matt handled all the paperwork with our extended warranty company, kept us informed every step of the way, and went above and beyond their normal job duties to get us running again. I can't say enough about how impressed I was with the team at HOD; from the parts dept (where I have spent over $2500.00), to the sales dept and Mike Binder where I am currently purchasing another bike. I have been riding metric bikes for years but always wanted a harley. I had been into your dealeaship many times to look at what was new. I stopped by and there were three or four employes together talking and i asked if they had any road king standards as i did not see one on the floor. Mike Desantis said let's go look in back. We have been to Harley Dealerships all over the country and Heart of Dixie is by FAR the BEST in every aspect. The entire staff are the friendliest and most helpful from the time you walk in the door. Dan is a truck driver and was waiting to make a delivery near Heart of Dixie HD so he walked in to browse and check out the bikes. He happened to find the perfect ride. Since Dan was working he had to leave so the sales staff offered to hold the bike with a small down payment until we could iron out the sale. We were able to do most of that by phone with Doug over the weekend and when we flew from Wisconsin, Blake (our fantastic sales guy) and his wife Janie were wonderful enough to offer to pick us up from the airport to avoid hassle of arranging a shuttle or cab. We were discussing our plans for the ride back home on our new to us 2007 Screamin Eagle Dyna and Janie looked up a good route and great places to stay for the trip. We were in with Pat going over financing and completing our purchase and he was terrific, explaining everything and going over the extended warranty info. We were left with NO questions. While there we were lucky enough to meet the previous owner of our bike which was quite a treat. He is also a very pleased customer of Heart of Dixie HD that he comes in all the time to visit and see whats happenin with everyone. When we finished with Pat we then went to buy some things we needed for our trip home and Katie helped us with everything. We needed helmets and rain gear and Dan needed a new pair of boots. Katie was terrific. She knew everything about all of the apparel and how it should fit for comfort and functionality. We will be regular customers of Heart of Dixie HD...no doubt about that! Although we live 750 miles away, their service by every staff member in every department is outstanding and makes the trip well worth the time. Hello, my name is Glenn Morgan and I am 43. I have been riding motorcycles as long as I can remember. My mom taught my brother, my sister and me to ride when we were very young. I had always owned metric bikes and the bike I just traded in was a Honda VTX 1300C; which was a good bike. The thing is, my brother rides a 06 Road King, my sister rides a 09 Road King and my brother-in-law just traded his Street Bob for a 2010 Street Glide (which pushed me over the edge) and they have been riding Harleys for years. So, as you can imagine they have been giving me a lot of grief about getting a Harley. When we go ride they always manage to get me to ride one of their bikes and I cant believe the difference. I have been looking seriously at Harleys for almost a year and my brother-in-law and I took a Street Glide for a test ride last October and I fell in love with it the first time I rode it. I had even tried to trade with two different dealers here locally, but we just couldn't get the deal together. Buzz and the other folks that worked with me on buying my FIRST HARLEY made the whole process easy. I bought a Street Glide and I LOVE it! It was well worth the 5 hour drive to your store for this bike and the way I was treated through the whole process was great. If I ever decide to trade this bike, I will check with you folks first. I've been a Goldwing rider for over 30 years and put up with their total contempt for the customers and laxidasical service on the big bikes. I started looking at the 'New Harleys' about 4 years ago. I was so very impressed with the Dealership I decited that I would replace my aging 1500 with a new Ultra. In Nov. 08 I got my Ultra and the Dealership was outstanding. All departments treat you like family. You can just come in and have coffee, popcorn, brouse and talk to other owners and shoppers. The 'Wing' has 96,000 miles and I'm keeping it, but I love the Hog. I'd like to commend Jeff Dailey on being very professional on 18 Dec 08. I'd visited my brothers in the area after flying in from Kuwait a few days earlier. I stopped by the dealership prior to leaving for home in Columbus, MS. He met me just as I passed the entrance and asked if I needed help. I had no intentions of buying, but just wanted to see their selection and prices. The next thing I know we're sitting down doing some numbers. Shortly there after a sign with my name on it saying (sold) is placed on a Vivid Black 2009 Softail Deluxe! There wouldn't have been a sale if the atmosphere hadn't been right. Jeff was on point with information and was a straight up guy. I had a tremendous experience and there's nothing like getting back into the wind after 4 1/2 years. Late Saturday , almost closing time , I spoke to Robbie Nix , and he called me back well after closing time .. I told him we would see him on Sunday afternoon to look at the bike .. Long story , short , we got the scooter Sunday and had a great experience with Robbie and Doug in the Buisness Office .. I had two bad experiences with the HOD service department and vowed never to have my bike serviced there again. Well, while out riding one day I stopped by to pick up some extra bulbs and some cleaning solution. While there I was talking to Mike Gay, he was telling me about all of the changes that had been made at the dealership and his service/business philosophy. I then told him about my unfavorable experience with the service department and he asked me if I would give them a chance to make right. Well I did, and what a pleasant experience it was. They were very busy that day but the service writer took the time to acknowledge my presence and tell me that he would be with me in just a moment (that is a sign of professionalism). I gave him a brief history of the problem (fuel gage stuck on full) and he took the bike in. 3 days later I received a call that the bike was ready. Cash was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the experience, from my initial 'window shopping' visit through walking me through the bike's features prior to my riding off with it. I had also considered a 2007 Electra Glide Standard and adding a Tour Pak and Cash took the time to research the costs involved, helping me to make an informed decision on which bike was right for me. This past Saturday, I had the misfortune of a 'dead' bike @ 5:00 in the afternoon, 5 miles from the dealership. A truck with trailer was sent promptly and my bike secured for the evening. I had already warned by husband that he'd likely have to drive our truck and trailer over 4 hours to come get me, but to my delight, your dealership is open at 10:00 am on Sunday and they had my battery replaced and I was out the door and rolling toward Nashville by 12:00 noon! Such fantastic service and convenience deserves comment, especially in this day when rude behavior seems the norm at SOME dealerships. The staff there is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would name some of them but fear I'd leave someone out, so please extend my thanks to ALL the staff. I will certainly be back as a customer and will tell friends to be sure and shop there when passing through that area. You guys and gals ROCK!!! Kaye

I wanted to take a moment and thank you for your great southern hospitality.... I had been out on the road for 7 days and was on my second to last leg of my journey. It was getting close to needing fuel and I began looking for Harley Dealership Billboards, of course you can't just pull over for fuel without checking out the local dealership if there is one available. Well needless to say, 'Heart of Dixie Harley Davidson' billboard appeared ..I pulled off the highway and checked out your store. Well, long story short a employee was checking out my bike, 05 Softail Deluxe, and he asked if I was leaking some fluid. My response was , 'nah its only got 9k miles'. I went in and looked around the store and had a cup of coffee and was ready to hit the road. As I was getting geared up I decided to take a look and see if there was a leak, to my dismay there was fluid everywhere !!! I freaked!! I went into the service department and explained my delima,I thought I was SOL because it was around 4 in the afternoon and being from out of town there would be no way they could get to my bike. The service person said to bring my bike around and he would look at it. When I came around he said he would check to see if he had someone available, sure enough here came one of your technicians... He took my bike in the back and within 20 minutes he came out with the problem in hand and my bike fixed !!! There was a o-ring in the speed sensor that broke, thank god that was all the bigger the problem was !!!!! I can't thank your service department enough for their hospitality and their ability to get my bike in and out so fast. Some may think that would have been the low point of my over 2800 mile journey, infact it was one of the highlights of my journey !! It makes a person realize why they own a Harley and that those who do are like family. I can't forget the employee that noticed the leak in the first place, without him my small problemn could have been a HUGE one... Again thank you for your assistance!!!! I called your dealership the other day to get directions so I could stop in and get a t-shirt. 'Bean' answered the phone and in her lovely souther drawl she told us exactly how to get there. She said, 'Now ya'll don't eat before you get here, we've got some great food out back.' When we got there we went straight to the back and were greeted by the service department and they told us to follow the crowd. We ate then hung out with some of your HOG members before we went in to meet 'Bean.' What a trip she was!! She kept us entertained the whole time we were in there!!! On may 19th myself and two others rode to your dealership to see your new bilding. Beautiful place with lots of bikes and accessories. Staff very very friendly. Overall,we had a good time. The only problem I had was that when we were leaving, I had a flat tire. I went to your service dept. for help and was told that everyone had gone to lunch. I hope this is not standard procedure during the weekdays. We were directed to a motorcycle shop and had no problem getting the tire plugged. I don't like to plug motorcycle tires, and was prepared to purchase a tire from you. I'll get one here in Montgomery. This does not stop me from visiting your dealership in the future. Last week while we were traviling thru your state from Indiana to Florida our shifter came off on our 2002 Harley Ultra Classic. The Heart of Dixie Harley Davidson shop was our only hope and we are so lucky that we found them. Terri at the service department took us in as urgent and she was even so nice as to give us sunscreen for our burnt snowbird faces. I am from out of town, and had a problem with my bike. I called your service dept. and asked if I could bring my bike in to have them take a look at it. They had me bring it right in. They couldn't find anything wrong with the bike, they just charged the battery. When I picked up the bike they told me there wouldn't be any charge. This is a dealership I would come back to anytime. 3-3-06 I limped into your dealership.(my gear shift lever came off my bike 50 miles south of Montgomery)I was lucky to not only make it to your dealership but to also catch 3 green light in the process as I exited the interstate. Your service manager and staff were not only eager to correct my problem, they were also quick to hard time me about the situation. I purchased my bike at your store in the spring of 04 from Tommy Hallmark. From purchase (Rookie did a good job)to 2 servicings and my recent incident, I have been impressed with the attitude and the willingness of your staff to take care of everyones needs. I am an over the road truck driver delivering to your city approx. 4 times a month just up into the industrial park behind your new location and stop in frequently for parts and supplies for my scoot. Weird as it sounds your dealership is more convienient for me than the one near my home; and I live just 45min. out from the plant in Milwaukee. We purchased our first Harley yesterday and the experience was as fun as I hoped it would be. Rico, the salesman, Wow! He is exactly what we needed. He answered question in terms we could understand, he hand carried the paperwork, and he stayed on top of the process. All we had to do was have fun and of course write the check. Trish, in appareal, was so patient with us in our daunting task of choosing that perfect helmet. When we were done, we had the perfect Kevlar/Carbon fiber helmets. And Rookie, he's a trip! He made the paperwork fun. When it was time to drive away, Jerry, the General Manager, personally made sure we had met everyone and that all of our questions had been answered. When we rode away we were sad to leave because we had so much fun at Heart of Dixie, but we were exited about 'Throttling Up and Hitting the Road'. I live in Auburn and have been going to the Harley shop there. For some reason when i got ready to trade my bike in for a new one I decided to go to 3 stores. Auburn, Montgomery and Pelham. Out of the three Heart of Dixie was by far the Best. The manager there (Mike) is the best people skills person I have ever witnessed in my life. I had my wife and 2 other couples with me that day. On a motorcycle ride/camping trip with several buddies this past week, when we stopped for breakfast at a well known restaurant (CB) in Pelham, Al on the way home to Louisiana. Went I went to leave the restaurant, my bike was completely dead. No previous battery problems, nothing left turned on, it just died, not even a clicking noise when trying to turn it over. Looked around and saw the wonderful HD sign high in the air, now even a block away. One of my buddies rode over to see if they had a jump box, next thing I knew a guy pulled up in a pickup truck and went to work on my bike. He attempted the jump start, but the battery was too far gone. He removed the battery, told me to jump in his truck, and drove me to the dealership. He informed me he was a mechanic/technician there, and that this was his personal truck , not a company vehicle. I went in and bought a new battery, and as I went to leave, (planning to walk back to my bike) he re-emerged, told me to get back in the truck, drove me back to the bike, then reinstalled the battery and checked to insure it started and that there were no other issues. He then refused to accept any compensation for his services (which I ignored, and went and put something on the seat of his truck while my friends were thanking him for his help. What a great dealership, and great employees, true bikers at heart (never leave a brother biker broke down on the side of the road alone). I cant thank them enough, just wish my memory wasnt so bad, so I could remember the guys name and send him a more personal shout out.
